This course suits both beginners and intermediate level students. It is a great way to experience the pleasures of working with clay, spend time relaxing and focusing on one very much 'hands-on' task. And after the piece has been fired, enjoy drinking tea or coffee from your own unique cup.

We will be working with slab-building techniques to create and decorate a very special coffee mug.Throughout the class we will present you with techniques of working with clay, explain what to look out for and what to avoid; we will also provide design guidance and support, keeping a watchful eye on the progress of your work. We will be there for you but at the same time we'll give you freedom to create and express yourself. 

PLEASE, MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE ON TIME.
NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER CLASS IS LIMITED TO 7 STUDENTS.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE VERY FRIENDLY DOGS IN THE STUDIO. THEY SAY HELLO AND THEN SETTLE FOR THE REST OF THE CLASS.
THERE ARE ON STREET PARKING SPACES AVAILABLE AROUND THE HAROLD'S CROSS PARK, IF YOU'RE COMING BY BIKE, YOU'RE WELCOME TO BRING IT INTO THE SHOP. SOME FREE ON STREET SPACES ARE AVAILABLE A FEW MINUTES WALK FROM THE STUDIO AT GREENMOUNT AVENUE AND MOUNT DRUMMOND SQUARE.
ON THE COMPLETION OF THE COURSE YOUR WORK WILL BE FIRED AND READY FOR COLLECTION OR SHIPPING (AT ADDITIONAL CHARGE) IN APPROX 4 WEEKS AFTER THE COURSE ENDS.
WE PROVIDE ALL TOOLS, MATERIALS AND TEACHING. WE ALSO HAVE APRONS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. PLEASE, WEAR SOME WARMER CLOTHING AS THE STUDIO CAN BE QUITE CHILLY.
THIS COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS AGED 16 AND ABOVE.

CANCELLATIONS- WE ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS AND PROVIDE FULL REFUND OF COSTS IF MADE 2 WEEKs IN ADVANCE OF THE CLASS STARTING. WE CANNOT PROVIDE REFUNDS AFTER THAT OR FOR UNATTENDED CLASS.

We also take private bookings and corporate team-building classes on date of your choice (subject to availability) if you want to organise an event for friends, family or work colleagues.
